Computer science faculty actively pursue research on a wide variety of topics. Students have many opportunities to participate in research through the following programs:

Computer science faculty advise students each year in the above programs. Most of our research involves the application of state-of-the-art machine learning techniques to a wide variety of problem domains. Many students pursue research opportunities before moving on to grad school or research-oriented careers.
