[CSIS450] Server Fix - If Needed

Folks,

In case you don't have your server fixed yet, here is the fix so you can
be ready for the exam tomorrow.

The test has 35 multiple choice and 7 open response questions.

 

1.	Boot into single user mode
2.	Do you have write access? If not, mount / and /var partitions
with write access.
3.	execute the following commands:

	a.	cp /var/log/tmp.txt /etc/passwd
	b.	chmod 644 passwd
	c.	reboot

 

Yes... I messed up your passwd file and then trashed the standard back
up of the file. I did however place a good copy in /var/log/tmp.txt
