Beldain's Transformers Site
"It is a world transformed. Where things are not what they seem.
It is the world of the Transformers...a world of heroic Autobots and evil Decepticons.
The Transformers--mechanical beings from the planet Cybertron--search for life-giving fuel and energy here on Earth. The evil Decepticons and heroic Autobots battle for control by transforming their bodies into vehicles, creatures, weapons, and more. While the Decepticons plan to drain the Earth of all her energized resources, the Autobots strive to defend the planet!"
This page is dedicated to the greatest toys ever invented:
Yes, the Transformers. Those herioc Autobots and evil Decepticons first captured my imagination back in 1984, when I got Mirage for Christmas by chance. My aunt, her mom and someone else, I can't remember who, somehow all bought Mirage for my cousin. Since there were three of them, I and another of my cousins each got one of the two extras.
Unfortunately I was a little kid back then and Generation 1 of the Transformers had died out by the time I had a job and was earning my own money. Thus, to my vast chagrin, I possess less than forty of the much prized robots. With over ten of them being either Micromasters or Tapes. There were two main high points in my short Transformer collecting career. The first was when I received Optimus Prime one Christmas. I had seen him at the store a couple times and that semi was like some unattainable Holy Grail of Transformerhood. Little did I know my grandparents had somehow thought that Optimus Prime would be the perfect Christmas present. The second of my Transformer euphorias was a couple years later when there happened to be this amazing two foot tall Transformer named Fortress Maximus. Oh, to possess that one of a kind robot. Voila! My grandparents came through once again when that one large box under the tree turned out to be that awesome, king sized Transformer.
Disappointingly I was never able to aquire Skylynx, Jetfire, Omega Supreme, Metroplex, Trypticon, or, heart wrenchingly, any of the geshalts. I did get Scorponok, the Omnibots and quite a few others though. My favorite Transformer,
Wheeljack
, still eludes me however. I would have really like to get Hotrod as well. Also Starscream and the other first first year jets, Thundercracker and Skywarp, would have been cool to have. Most of all I regret never being able to get
Megatron
. There's also Reflector, Sunstreaker, Shockwave, Rodimus Prime, all the other first year autobots and...

Hey, I found out who made some of the animated icons floating around my webpage. Apparently
Greg Gaub
made the rotating .gif at the top and
Thaddeus Cultt
created the side-to-side TRANSFORMERS bar. Thanks for some nice work guys.
